About The Artist

Art is a visual narrative. And like a good story it should engage the audience. My art aims to do this by delivering images through visual constructions; by using symbols and concepts that provoke and exercise the mind. The use of texture on the canvas is paramount to my technique. I have also experimented with film and video as a method of visual narration and parody. The art explores design and light through organic shapes and symbols which we experience in our everyday life. The symbols come across as being simple, but each one has a history. But to me art is like history, it documents the stories of our lives and emotions. As an artist, I portray stories using creativity and imagination to form an image that invokes a reaction as a good story would.
